Trollinger Construction, Inc. is a third generation General Contractor that has been engaged in quality design, development, construction, and renovation of residential and commercial properties in the Asheboro/Randolph County area for over seventy-five years. We are an award winning, licensed general contractor (#13875-State of North Carolina), fully insured (Liability Coverage of $2,000,000) and a member of the Home Builders Association of Asheboro/Randolph County.
Mark Trollinger – Owner and General Manager. Mark graduated from Clemson University in 1982 with a B.S. in Architecture. He was appointed to the North Carolina Building Code Council in 1993 for a six-year term. During his term, he served as a member of the General Construction and Administration Committees. Mark chaired the Wind AD-HOC Committee in 1995, which was charged with updating the North Carolina Code to the current wind standards. Mark also co-chaired the EIFS (stucco) AD-HOC Committee, which developed the current EIFS requirements that served as a model code for other jurisdictions across the country. Mark’s familiarity with code related issues, formal design training and lifelong involvement in the construction industry, and high standards of quality and ethics have been significant to projects being successfully completed on schedule and within budget.
Katie C. Gregson – Product Selection/Coordination and Customer Relations. Katie joined the team in July of 2018. She graduated with a B.A. degree in Communications with a focus in Journalism from Lee University. Katie works directly with our clients and vendors for project selections and schedule coordination. She is a strong communicator and a helpful resource in the design process from start to finish. Her experience offers an eye for design and organizational skills. Katie’s main goal is for the client to always feel heard, accomplished, and confident entrusting their vision with Trollinger Construction.
Chloe Floyd – Designer/Project Developer. Chloe graduated from Randolph Community College with an Associates in Applied Science degree in Interior Design. While being proficient in CAD and Sketchup, Chloe also brings with her the ability to create 3D images of homes. Chloe’s goal is to create a functional yet pleasing design for clients. She joined Trollinger Construction in May of 2022 after interning with the company.
Ann Haigler – Office Administrator. Ann graduated from Randolph Community College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Interior Design and a second Associate in Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering. She earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from Guilford College. She has been with Trollinger Construction since November of 2011. She handles the administrative functions within the company.
Field Personnel – We are fortunate to have an extremely talented and dedicated group of field personnel that consistently produce quality work with the highest degree of craftsmanship and have a true sense of pride in their work. Some of our carpenters have been employed with Trollinger Construction, Inc. for over 40 years.
